Major organs of the United Nations organisation :-
- General Assembly :-
- It includes representatives from all member states. Therefore, it has also been called the world's small parliament.
- It is the only part of the United Nations, in which all the member countries of the Union are members of the membership and have been given the honor franchise.
- Its session is called at least once a year, which usually takes place in New York in the month of September.
- The General Assembly has been entrusted with important tasks related to peace, security, and cooperation.
- Each member nation has the right to send a maximum of five (5) representatives, however they are counted as one.
- Under its financial powers, the General Assembly passes the annual budget.
- The regular session of the General Assembly commences on the third Tuesday of September every year till the middle of December.
- Important questions, such as issues related to peace and security, new members require a two-thirds majority for admission and budget decisions.
- At the beginning of each regular session, the General Assembly elects a new Speaker, 21 Vice-Presidents and the Chairmen of the seven main committees of the General Assembly.
- Security Council :-
- They are the main part of the United Nations and are executive in a way.
- According to the United Nations Declaration, the main responsibility of the Security Council is to maintain international peace and security. For this reason, as an idiom, it has also been called the policeman of the world.

- The Security Council is the mandating body fulfilling the obligations of the United Nations relating to world peace and security.
- It has five permanent members - America, Britain, China, France, and Russia. As long as the Security Council exists, the permanent membership of these five will remain.
- There are also ten (10) temporary members of the Security Council who are elected by the General Assembly for two (2) years.
- Temporary Members Country Name :- Belgium (2020), Dominican Republic (2020), Estonia (2021), Germany (2020), Indonesia (2020), Niger (2021), Saint Vincent And The Grenadines (2021), South Africa (2020), Tunisia (2021), Vietnam (2021).
- Temporary members are usually selected from five African Asian countries, two from Latin America, two from Western Europe, and one from Eastern Europe.
- All the countries preside over the Security Council for one (1-1) month in alphabetical order of the letters of the English alphabet.
- The Security Council is permanently in session. It meets once in 14 days and if necessary can also be called on 24 hours notice.
- Every permanent member of the Security Council receives a prohibition (VETO). According to this arrangement, if any one of the five permanent members votes in opposition to an important decision, then the subject will be deemed rejected.
- Economic and Social Council :-

- This council has 54 members.
- Africans States (14), Asia'sPacific's States (11), Eastern Europeans States (6), Latin Americans and Caribbeans States (10), Western Europeans and Other States (13).
- It is a permanent institution but 1/3 of its members are released every year. Thus the duration of each member is 3 years. But the retiring member can be re-elected immediately.
-Its works cover all subjects of international importance except the politics of war and weapons. It studies various problems related to economic, social, education, and health and produces a report on them. And sends related suggestions to the General Assembly and other related institutions.
- The Economic and Social Council meets twice a year - in New York in April and in Geneva in July.
- International Court of Justice :-
- Judges elect one of their own presidents and vice-presidents for 3 years.

- The International Court Of Justice Working language :- English, And French.
- This court consists of 15 members who are elected by the General Assembly and the Security Council.
- It is headquartered in The Hague (Netherlands).
- Only persons recognized in the field of international law are elected as judges. The judges have a term of 9 years but there is no restriction on their re-election.
- This Court gives a decision on the subject of a dispute in relation to the case being presented by the disputed countries.
- Trusteeship Council :-
- Russia, China, and France are permanent members of the Security Council, which have no jurisdiction under their rule.
- The Priyanka Parishad currently has 12 members, including four managing countries, three permanent members of the Security Council and five elected members.
- The states to which the trust has been entrusted are: Australia, New Zealand, USA and UK
- With the independence of the US-administered Pacific island of Palau in November 1994, the functions of the Priyanka Council are almost over.
- Through this council, the responsibility of the United Nations related to the administration and security of those nations, which could not become independent even after the Second World War.
- 11 states were placed in it, in which British Toboland, French Toboland, Cameroon, Somaliland, Tanganyika, West Samoa etc. have gained independence.
- Secretariat :-
- It is an administrative part of the United Nations.
- The Secretariat handles the day-to-day work of the United Nations.
- According to the manifesto, the general secretary is the chief 'administrative officer' of the organization.
- The Secretariat consists of a General Secretary and other staff. The Secretary-General is appointed by the General Assembly on the recommendation of the Security Council for 5 years.
